Event & Production Management for Brighton & Hove International Festival of Sport
In 2008 HandSprung won a tender to provide Event Management of the Preston Park event, which serves as the flagship event for two weeks of sports activities throughout Brighton and Hove. Now coming up to its third year, the launch event provides an opportunity for the sports clubs and associations of Brighton and Hove to inform some 12,000 members of the public about their activities and facilities.
The emphasis, clearly, is on’ taking part’, and the event offers have-a-go sessions in numerous activities including swimming, cycling, orienteering, rock climbing, patanque, parkour, fitness training, football, cricket, circus skills etc. These run along side four performance areas, a market place and exhibition space.

Some other feedback from exhibitors:
I just wanted to say a big well done for a fantastic day on Saturday. I was delighted to see so many people turn out for it and I thought the organisation of it was great.

I would like to congratulate you on a superb event in Preston Park on the weekend. On Saturday the whole park was given over to all the different sports available in Brighton at the International Festival of Sport, and it was free... Well done to the organisers and sponsors!
James Graydon - Area Manager NCP
I was wanted to say thank you so much for organising such a brilliant event. In my day job I am an Events Director so I know exactly how difficult this event must have been to organise and you did an amazing job, not just on the day but with the communications as well.
